- Safran (OTCPK:SAFRF) is considering making an offer for Zodiac Aerospace (OTCPK:ZODFF) that would unite two of Europe’s biggest aerospace suppliers, Bloomberg reports.
- A bid would come more than five years after Safran dropped an offer for Zodiac, a world leader in the manufacture of aircraft seats and interiors; Zodiac has cut its earnings forecast eight times in the last six months as it failed to meet schedules and took on more work than it could handle.
- Earlier today, Safran agreed to sell its explosives detection unit to Smiths Group in a deal valued at $710M.
