Community Health COO sets retirement

• Community Health Systems (NYSE:CYH +2.6%) says its president and COO David Miller is retiring as of year's end.
• He's the company's first COO since taking that role in January 2014, but has been with the firm for 19 years. Since taking over the job, he's overseen six divisions including 198 affiliated hospitals across 29 states.
• The company is still set to proceed with a spin-off of Quorum Health Corp., to be effective next Friday.
