- U.S. stock index futures are indicating a marginally negative open after yesterday's late slide. Shanghai lost 0.25% overnight and Hong Kong 1.5% (Japan was closed). Europe is down 1.3% at midday.
- The real action is in oil, where crude has moved up another 1% and is now at $46.50 per barrel - its highest level since early December. Gold's also on the move - up 1.2% to $1,282 per ounce.
