U.S. ETF/ETP assets hit new record high

• Assets invested in U.S.-listed ETFs and ETPs hit a new record high of $2.217T as of the end of April, according to ETFGI.
• Inflows were $11.23B, bringing YTD inflows to $45.3B. Especially popular are fixed-income products with $33.66B of inflows and commodities with $8.05B.
• April's biggest gatherer was Vanguard with $5.9B, followed by iShares (NYSE:BLK) with $3.58B. YTD, Vanguard has brought in $22.33B, followed by iShares with $20.08B.
