- ParkerVision (OTC:PRKR -3.6%) posted a narrower net loss in a report of Q1 earnings dominated by the company's actions at the International Trade Commission.
- The company raised an ITC complaint in December against Apple, Samsung, LG and Qualcomm alleging infringement of four patents. About half of Q1 operating expenses were tied to the ITC action and were funded from $11M in restricted cash furnished by Brickell Key Investments.
- Net loss in Q1 was $5.1M vs. a year-ago loss of $4.8M. At quarter's end, remaining restricted cash and equivalents from BKI were at $6.8M; the company expects a hearing in about three months.
