Apple's reported plans to use Nvidia (NVDA) graphics processors (GPUs) in next-gen MacBook Pro models could add $107M-$155M in revenue and $0.05-$0.10 in EPS to the chipmaker's 2013 results, estimates Needham. Meanwhile, Nvidia is introducing its VGX and GeForce GRID cloud GPU platforms; the former allows enterprise PC users to access graphics resources hosted in a data center, while the latter allows consumers to do so via cloud gaming services.
