American States Water wins $510M government contract

• American States Water (NYSE:AWR) says it has been awarded a 50-year, $510M contract from the U.S. government to operate and manage water distribution and wastewater collection systems at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
• With the addition of Eglin AFB, AWR says it now provides water and wastewater utility services to three of the largest U.S. military installations, including Fort Bragg in North Carolina and Fort Bliss in Texas.
