- A year earlier than planned, Stacey Snider is taking over as chairman and CEO of Twentieth Century Fox Film (NASDAQ:FOX -1%, FOXA -0.9%).
- Current CEO/Chairman Jim Gianopulos will step down as of Sept. 1, speeding the transition.
- Snider has been co-chairman of the studio and will take over full oversight of its five production divisions, global marketing and distribution and home entertainment.
- Gianopulos has been a Fox film veteran, spending 16 years in the job as chairman/CEO and 25 years at the studio overall.
