- Time Inc. (TIME -0.8%) today launched its virtual reality brand, LIFE VR, a platform for VR storytelling across the company's global brands.
- The kickoff includes Defying the Nazis, a companion to the new Ken Burns documentary; Fast Ride, an experience from The Drive that puts viewers in the passenger seat of powerful cars; and LUMEN, a "de-stressing" interactive experience.
- The brand is launching as a free app for iOS/Android and the company will make it compatible with all VR-available platforms (Google Cardboard, HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR), as well as via 360-degree video on desktop and mobile Web.
