CBOE September volume edges higher from a year ago

• September BATS:CBOE +1.2% edges higher after reporting total average daily volume of 5.1M contracts up 25% M/M and 3% Y/Y. Total options ADV of 4.81M up 23% M/M and 2% Y/Y. Total Futures ADV of 302.2M contracts up 20% Y/Y and 46% M/M.
• CBOE's market share of the total U.S. options industry of 28.3% up 50bps from August 2016 and Sept. 2016.
• Average revenue per contract of $0.395 for the three months ending in August.
