- Tandy Leather Factory (NASDAQ:TLF) announced opening of a new retail store in Philadelphia, under the name Tandy Leather and will officially open for business on October 17.
- Shannon Greene, Chief Executive Officer, commented, “We have been studying the Philadelphia market for some time and are pleased to be establishing a local presence there. This is the first of several new stores expected to open in the fourth quarter, despite the current challenges throughout the retail sector. The new stores are not expected to be significant contributors to our top line in 2016, but should be noticeable in 2017 and beyond.”
