- Genesee & Wyoming (NYSE:GWR) announces that its GWI UK subsidiary acquired Pentalver Transport Limited for $110M from APM Terminals (a subsidiary of A P Møller-Maersk). Pentalver operates off-dock container terminals in the U.K.
- The company expects the deal to close in Q1 of 2017.
- Pentalver’s operations are complementary to its Freightliner subsidiary.
