Live Ventures names Johnson new CFO

• Live Ventures (NASDAQ:LIVE -3.2%) has named Virland Johnson its new chief financial officer.
• Previously he was senior director of revenue at JDA Software Group, which followed several positions in the Scottsdale, Ariz., area.
• He's been working with the company for a couple of months as a consultant.
• Shares are up 45% over the past month but are down 19.4% in the past five days.
