Automakers respond to Trump with U.S. investment

• Amid threats of higher levies on auto imports, Hyundai Motor (OTCPK:HYMTF) and affiliate Kia Motors (OTCPK:KIMTF) said they will spend $3.1B in the U.S. over the next five years and may even build a new American factory.
• The Trump effect? General Motors plans to also announce a $1B investment in U.S. factories today in a development that could create as many as 1,000 new jobs at existing facilities.
