Mobile TeleSystems buying back Sistema shares for $81M

• Mobile TeleSystems (NYSE:MBT) says it plans to buy back 16M shares from Sistema, its parent company.
• That will come to about 4.65B rubles, a little over $81.3M.
• It's doing an identical transaction with minority shareholders, buying the same number of shares for the same price.
