- The European Union said yesterday that it would extend by 18 months anti-dumping and anti-subsidy measures on Chinese solar panel exports, but would phase out the measures during the period.
- The EU's second highest court rejected an appeal of the 2013 move to impose definitive duties of an average ~50% on imports of solar panels from China over unfair trade, but also announced a “gradual phaseout” of the measures which would happen in line with cost reductions in the solar industry.
