- In a promo-crazy wireless market, Sprint (S -0.4%) looks like it's testing one (in two cities) where unlimited-data subscribers get free access to Sling TV (DISH +4.9%).
- Customers in Atlanta and Chicago who add four or more lines on Unlimited Freedom will get free Sling Orange service (its least expensive tier) until next May, at which point the price for the streaming service goes to $17/month.
- The move comes after AT&T began offering DirecTV Now service for $10/month to those signing up for its new "unlimited" data service.
- Customers with fewer than four lines of the unlimited service are offered a $3/month discount to the Sling TV plans.
