Dueling stories on Vodafone/Liberty Global tie-up

• A story in The Register says the two companies are back at the negotiating table, with the fourth floor of Vodafone's (NASDAQ:VOD) Newbury HQ sealed off to all but execs.
• The FT, however, says nothing has changed from two weeks ago when Vodafone CEO Vittorio Colao said no active talks between his company and Liberty Global (NASDAQ:LBTYA) were taking place.
