TDS Telecom expands managedIP hosted service for business

• TDS Telecom (NYSE:TDS) is stretching its cable business, extending its managedIP hosted service to cable customers in more than 80 communities in seven states.
• The service is available in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Utah, FierceTelecom notes.
• The company brings together vendors including Cisco, Polycom and Broadsoft to offer business tools including conference and call-center functionality more widely across its cable footprint.
