The time may be right for long-term investors to find winning bargains in natural gas, Intrepid Capital's Mark Travis says, listing Bill Barrett (BBG) and Patterson-UTI Energy (PTEN) as examples of stocks with solid balance sheets to go along with attractive valuations. But there's too much debt at Chesapeake (CHK): "Shareholders need to be aware that the bankers eat first."

Nat Gas price maybe should go to a level where they actually can make money? Or?

How about playing the Oil Service Companies instead? The Frack guys? They are down like 60-70% too (look at RES, BAS, etc.) You play oil and gas simultaneously then.

Back when nat gas sold for a nickel and we flared pretty much everything there was a joke in the industry. A CEO prayed to the Lord..."oh Lord, will this gas glut ever end?" God answered his prayer..:Yes it will....but not in your lifetime."

CHK is a lot more down to go... So many chances to have sold... Know when to take chunks of profits off table to not get burned.
