Kindle goes global, with Amazon.com (AMZN) announcing late yesterday a new version that will wirelessly download books in more than 100 countries using AT&T (T) and its international roaming partners' network instead of Sprint (S). Global Kindle will retail for $279, while domestic version drops to $259.
