Some highlights from the 2012 version of Mary Meeker's Internet Trends report: Smartphone subs only made up 15.6% of global mobile subs as of Q4; mobile's share of ad spending was only 1/10 its share of U.S. media viewing time in 2011; global 3G penetration (as a % of mobile subs) only stood at 18% in Q4 (a positive for QCOM); mobile display ad rates are barely 1/5 of PC ad rates (a problem for GOOG and MM); and the App Store (AAPL) is now seeing 46M+ downloads/day.
