"Today, we're getting paid fairly (for mortgage business)," says Wells Fargo (WFC) CEO Stumpf, speaking at Sanford Bernstein. The bank is the gorilla in U.S. mortgage lending and is cleaning up as a dearth of competition allows it from having to pass on a portion of its lower funding costs. Overseas expansion? "I don't even think about it."
