  • Is WPRT still in a partnership with Cummings to develop NG engines for the over the road truck industry as well as the local delivery market?

My opinion is there should not be a big city taxi cab, city bus, garbage truck, or local government vehicle including the US Postal service that is not powered by NG.

  • This action is contrary to their partnership with Cummins, who now is working on their own version of NG "big" engine. They are the world's experts in engine -- who do you think will win that race. WPRT is heavily dependent on the CMI relationship so this move to me represents poor judgement.

On another point, WPRT is now turning out hundreds of engines every quarter and they have yet to make a dime of profit -- in fact I believe their loss increased last quarter. Is this another great concept stock with no economics -- or is management so enamoured with themselves and their headlines, they don't htink mundane things like profits are necessary.

  • Wonder why WPRT is not making a profit? Trying to keep my opinionated emotions out of the equation. Like I said I would love to see a huge growth in the NG engine markets--- like school buses, city buses, mail trucks, Long haul trucking, garbage trucks, taxi cabs, etc. It has got to be a BIG Win-Win for North America. Let Chaves and OPEC keep their oil. This country needs to get as close as possible to energy independence as quickly as possible.

Obviously the WPRT / CAT deal is going to be a long term development deal, but every journey begins with the first step. Do you think WPRT has any chance of turning their earnings around this year??
