Though it has had a rough time lately due to a tough mobile capex environment, Ericsson (ERIC) claims it has grown its share of the mobile infrastructure market to 38% from 32% over the last few quarters, as the company takes advantage of Alcatel-Lucent (ALU - previous) and Nokia Siemens (NOK, SI) troubles. Ericsson also forecasts global smartphone subscribers will total 3B in 2016, up from 700M in 2011. There are currently over 6B mobile subscriptions worldwide.
