AT&T (T) CEO Randall Stephenson says his company is interested in buying the 700 MHz. spectrum Verizon Wireless (VZ, VOD) has offered to sell in order to win FCC approval of its spectrum purchases from cable providers. Consider this one more example of AT&T and Verizon, increasingly referred to as "duopolists," supporting each other on regulatory matters. T-Mobile and other opponents of Verizon's purchases have questioned the value of its 700 MHz. spectrum. (earlier)

My goodness.....He's actually learned something.... So much for the theory of the S&P CEO knowing everything!

And....It's time for payback on the T-Mobile disaster.

I will never forgive the guy for that one----cost $6 Billion.

    But Q1/2012 EBIT is 9% over Q1/ 2011.

Somehow this guy thinks he needs more scale...Just like the airlines......How about improved scale...LTE ....AND much higher prices?

Ahhhhhhh.......I think some one finally got to Randy....

$40 by YE with $1.92 dividend with or without the EU. At this level..Randy will have earned last years bonus. So he can stop moaning and contributing to the GOP!

And Board members...Keep this guy tight and out of politics.....Randy's not good at it... and it cost us the T-Mobile deal and $6 B.

    Good trading.
