A 13" MacBook Pro with a retina display will arrive by early October, according to KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo. Kuo, who was the first to predict the 17" MacBook Pro would be retired and that a 15" Pro with a retina display would be sold alongside lower-res models, claims Apple (AAPL) has delayed the 13" Pro's release due to yield and assembly issues. Unlike its bigger cousin, it won't have an Nvidia (NVDA) graphics processor. Reviewers love the 15" version's display, but aren't as crazy about its price. (previous)

Every one of you who review AAPL or anything else have opinions about one thing or another but won't take a position on the positive or negitive side of the issue you write about. The world does'nt need more comments that says nothing.

"Reviewers love the 15" version's display, but aren't as crazy about its price"

16gb ram, solid state drive, thunderbolt, the Retina display, top of the line CPU and GPU - that's an amazing amount of technology and it's a portable laptop!

They call it "Pro" for a reason. It's really not that expensive if you need those capabilities or if you consider how far advanced the 15" MacBook Pro really is.

It's not made for everyone, but it speaks volumes about Apple's leadership in the marketplace.

Perfect. I prefer the 13" model. Still going to wait for the iMac update to see which route I go.

I got the 15 inch MBP , though the my old 17' worked better as a professional tool. But, the 17 was broken down worn out. Off to the pasture after refurbish to run the stereo system.

I use mine for many things, but mostly for video taping forensic assessments.

I don't really understand the 13 inch as a professional tool; maybe... cheaper nice jewelery.
