AT&T (T) and Sirius XM (SIRI) have jointly requested the FCC grant AT&T permission to use dormant spectrum in the 2.3 GHz. band to offer 4G services. AT&T, hungry to add more spectrum following the collapse of the T-Mobile deals, has reached a compromise with Sirius that addresses its long-standing interference concerns, though it could lead to problems for other licensees with adjacent spectrum. Could this be the beginning of another cash stream for SIRI?

As usual in USA we have SNAFU....the breakup of ATT sure looks stupid now....almost as bad as the airplane deregulation.

    Good Trading

AT&T (T) additional spectrum will give it far better reception and transmission capabilities than any other mobile or smartphone & I-phone carrier.
Expect a major increase in switch-over customers and many new cell and smartphone users on the top network, AT&T (http://bit.ly/nD01f9).
Brilliant strategy for both customer acquisition, service and shareholder value.
Dow dividend champion AT&T (http://bit.ly/nD01f9) is becoming an even better holding.
AT&T (http://bit.ly/nD01f9) is a win/win investment for retirement and all income oriented portfolios with a strong likelihood of excellent capital gains.

Seems that Malone left ATT at that time. Is there a connection with what is happening with Siri now and what Mr. Malone is attempting to do with getting control of Siri?

These connections just keep popping up here and there.
