Kinross Gold (KGC -0.4%) receives a vote of confidence from Fitch Ratings, which affirms KGC’s issuer default rating at BBB- - the lowest investment-grade level - and says the outlook is stable. Fitch says liquidity should remain adequate to cover KGC’s capex plans in 2012-13, though it expects KGC to be free cash flow negative by an average $1.5B in each of the two years.
