Nvidia's (NVDA) Tegra Visual Computing Module, which combines a Tegra app processor with a GeForce graphics processor and other components, will power the giant infotainment/navigation system found in Tesla Motors' Model S car, as well as an instrument cluster. Though Nvidia's volumes are unlikely to be huge, Tesla's electronics systems are considered to be state-of-the-art, and thus the deal could lead to future automotive design wins.
