BP (NYSE:BP) exits Kazakhstan by selling interests in the Tengiz oilfield and the Caspian Pipeline Consortium for $1.6B to Russia's Lukoil (OTCPK:LUKOY). BP's moving out - to focus more on Russian and Azerbaijan - just as other oil companies are moving in to the Central Asian republic.
