The NYT trawls through thousands of recently unsealed documents and depositions that shed light on how Pfizer (PFI) was allegedly "less than forthcoming" about its arthritis drug Celebrex, which was no safer on the stomach than rival treatments despite Pfizer's initial claims to the contrary. "They swallowed our story, hook, line and sinker," wrote one research director in 2000.
