More drama with Navistar (NAV): After OTR Global kicked up enthusiasm by saying that the company may offer Cummins (CMI +4.1%) engines, a Navistar spokeswoman seemed to deflate the idea a bit by calling it "speculation" as she declined further comment. Shares are still up 11.5%, with M&A chatter remaining a major backdrop.

    ...in NAV vehicles, I presume.

    This isn't exactly new. It came out when the CEO said they would be remedying the "pollution" problem.

    As for takeover fever, I hope not. This company should not repeat its brake failure problem as that was down to a supplier;
    and the "pollution" problem just involves Bolt-On stuff, albeit costly.

    But being taken over would be a road to nowhere. I discount it absolutely (personal view).
