Coty's decision to file for an IPO effectively doesn't completely close the door on an acquisition of Avon Products (AVP +4.4%), but a peek at its financials (S-1) suggests that it will most likely play small-ball with acquisitions. Shares of AVP still sit 30% below where they were before Coty passed on buying Avon for $10.7B.
