DuPont (DD -3%) tumbles at the open after Jefferies cuts its stock rating to Hold from Buy and lowers its price target to $55 from $62. The firm cites deteriorating demand from Europe and weakness in the market for titanium dioxide, a widely used white pigment. "Multiple expansion appears less likely as capital will likely flow to other recovery plays," the firm says.
