The Canadian retail market is set for a period of "great dislocation" with an invasion of U.S. companies heading north. Target (TGT) plans to hire 27K new workers in Canada as it tries to keep pace with Wal-Mart's (WMT) ambitious plans (I, II) in the nation, while both Nordstrom (JWN) and Saks (SKS) are rumored to have expansion plans of their own.
