Spectrum Pharmaceuticals (SPPI +1.75%) catches an upgrade from hold to buy from TheStreet Ratings, which cites strengths "in multiple areas." These include "robust revenue growth, a largely solid financial position with reasonable debt levels by most measures, a notable return on equity, attractive valuation levels and expanding profit margins."

    How helpful. Everything they say now was true a month ago. Since then, the share price has gone up 41.5%. I guess they now think it is safe to make that call. Fortunately, I have been along for the ride on this one.
