Mobile phone sales will come in well below normal seasonality in Q2 and Q3, predicts Raymond James' Tavis McCourt. Nonetheless, McCourt, who's far from alone in expressing such a view, expects sales to rebound sharply in Q4 with the help of new phone launches. As a result, he thinks Q2 could represent a bottom for chipmakers such as Qualcomm (QCOM), Skyworks (SWKS), and RF Micro (RFMD), whose shares have already been hit by reports of order cuts.

I suspect that QCOM's stock price will touch the $68.00-$72.00 range by the Dec. '12 or Jan 13 time frame? Semi's are normally at their seasonally low points of the 2nd and/or 3rd quarters. Although QCOM is much more than "semi" company many analyists treat it as a semi-conductor company because it hard to find a perfect cubby-hole for QCOM the company.
