KBR (NYSE:KBR) says it's been awarded an engineering and procurement services contract for DuPont's (DD) first cellulosic ethanol plant in Nevada, Iowa. KBR will provide front-end services to DuPont's Industrial Biosciences Group for this first-of-a-kind plant to be constructed in the Midwest U.S. Once completed, the ethanol facility will process 1,300 tons per day of corn stover and 27.5M gallons of ethanol per year.
