Why doesn't Best Buy spin-off and sell Geek Squad to a third party, have them lease space from Best Buy or owner of building occupied by Best Buy. This would allow Best Buy to renegotiate current leases on space they do not own and lower costs. This would lower Best Buy's long term costs and generate a revenue stream of leased space. The third party owner gets an experienced repair/installation team of electronic equipment, something Amazon does not do.
