Two Deutsche Bank (DB) employees have been suspended after an external audit into whether its traders were involved with manipulating Libor, reports Der Spiegel. This follows Friday's report that Germany's BaFin is looking at Deutsche as part of its investigation into interbank lending rates.

Two sacrificial goats. They have all been manipulating Libor. This scandal reaches up the highest levels of the financial markets and governments.

DB was shocked and chagrined to find that two of their employees ("rogues," I tell you!) were engaged in such deplorable conduct. It was very interesting to see on Bloomberg's that they had reported on Barclay's behavior in rigging the Libor rates 4 years ago, yet CEO Diamond claims he had only learned about it in recent weeks. When can these people start going to jail? How much longer will Angelo Mozilo of Countrywide be allowed to walk free, spending his ill-gotten gains?

Yep, it almost always is that way. Remember GS and the Fabulous Fabio, and what happened with that scandal?

Line of the scape goats, let the big fish walk away free. Isn't that why politicians get paid for to protect the head mobsters?

Actually I seen in the news he was in the Hamptons taking it easy and everyone was trying to stay away from him because he is persona non grata.

He is not bothering to hide even.
