DirecTV (DTV -0.4%) and Viacom (VIA -0.5%) engage in an elevated war of words that doesn't do much productively for either company as Dora, SpongeBob, and Jon Stewart stay in limbo for 20M. One of the issues in play according to DirecTV CEO Mike White is that Viacom content on Netflix makes it hard for the company to pass on any price hikes, while Viacom accuses DirecTV of using customers as pawns.
