Microsoft (MSFT) news roundup: 1) Microsoft will reportedly charge OEMs license fees of $80-$100 for Windows 8 Pro and $50-$65 for Windows RT. The latter will make it tough to match Android tablets on price. 2) ZDNet's talks with CIOs turn up enthusiasm about Microsoft Surface. 3) Microsoft wants to boost its retail store count, currently below 20, to 44 by mid-2013. 4) Microsoft is releasing a version of its Azure cloud platform for web hosts, so as to better compete with VMware's (VMW) vCloud and OpenStack.
