Global PC shipments fell 0.1% Y/Y and 1.7% Q/Q in Q2 to 87.5M, according to Gartner's preliminary estimate. The downbeat figure, blamed on both macro issues and tablet cannibalization among consumers, dovetails with recent analyst checks, not to mention AMD's warning.
