"The tablet will become the quasi-console, quasi-controller of this generation," declares Lazard's Atul Bagga. He notes current tablet games, many of which are blown-up versions of smartphone games, are merely scratching the surface of what the hardware can deliver. Today, Amazon (AMZN) introduced its GameCircle social gaming platform for the Kindle Fire. But for now, the iPad (AAPL), which offers the very similar Game Center, rules the roost in terms of developer support. (also)

And with the iPad representing a dominant market share, anyone who feeds into the AAPL product line will benefit.

Ask your kids if they'd rather play the latest console game on an xbox 360 (with controller) or play it on a touch screen.
