In spite of reports to the contrary, Ross Levinsohn might not be named Yahoo's (YHOO) permanent CEO for several more weeks, says the well-connected Kara Swisher. Yahoo's board members, some of whom are new to the job, are said to be "committed to a more thorough vetting process" on account of past mistakes. But the delay could backfire, since Levinsohn has reportedly been offered jobs at top media companies, including Comcast. (hacking incident)
