Range Resources (RRC -2.5%) reports a 42% Y/Y increase and 10% sequential increase in oil and gas production in Q2, with volumes averaging 719.3M cubic feet equivalent/day. Prices received were not so good - averaging $4.74/1K cubic feet equivalent vs. $6.43 a year ago and $5.19 in Q1.

    Prices are down yet RRC keeps cranking out the volume. Not a good sign.

    So much for shutting down some rigs to put a floor under NG price. These producers are slowly killing themselves. Look for retracement in KWK, XCO, ECA, CHK and the rest in the next few weeks.
