Shares of Compugen (CGEN) are up more than 10% after the Israeli biotech company said it discovered a new protein for the treatment of autoimmune disorders. The new protein (CGEN-15001) is the extracellular region of a new membrane protein, and could potentially be used to treat MS, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and type 1 diabetes.
