General Motors (GM) could pull the plug entirely on Opel even after recently approving a business plan and working to negotiate labor disputes in Germany. Talk of ending the ill-fated brand for good has picked up again in force ever since GM reassigned Opel's CEO last week.

    Evidently, Europeans have discovered that Opel has a poorly crafted line of vehicles.

     

    Americans have also discovered that GM has a poorly crafted line of vehicles. Except for government fleet sales, GM is a mess.

     

    Looking at their competition, both deserve to fail.
