The Wal-Mart trade: The decoupling of shares of Wal-Mart (WMT +0.4%) from underlying company fundamentals seems to have intensified with more traders playing the name as a hedge against rising expectations for deflation. Pension Partners strategist Michael Gayed thinks push will come to shove for WMT over the next few weeks as either the broad stock market falls to justify the Wal-Mart runup or a "Summer Surprise" rally leaves Wal-Mart behind.
